A family estate comprising some 3,500 acres of mixed high hill, undulating lowland, moor, woodland, large loch and river: totally private, but easily accessible. It has a long-established shoot, with consistently challenging birds and its famous high Dhu Craig drive. We have recently added dedicated partridge drives, which are extremely popular.


One of the prime features of shooting on this estate and fishing on the loch, is its open country, its feeling of remoteness, and the abundance of its wildlife. We welcome those who respect and share our passion for conserving this unique wild place and its natural population, in harmony with efficient and humane shooting and fishing.

SHOOTING
We receive ever-enthusiastic responses to our cocktail of wild hills and gullies, really high pheasants, partridges who believe they are grouse, duck, goose, snipe and woodcock, and sumptuous lunches in the Victorian shooting lodge. We are constantly asked for more. So with the dedicated team of Derek and Ross Cooper and family and friends, we are continuing to expand all the shooting further across the estate each season, as well as our numerous flight ponds.

So for 2007-8 we again have more pens, more drives, more birds, and better ponds and butts.

• full driven days of 100 to 150 birds, either partridge, pheasant or mixed, from September to November, (reducing to 100 birds in December);
  
  
• semi-driven days of 75 mixed birds, including duck, with a handful of beaters;
  
  
• walked up days of around 50 mixed birds in January;
  
  
• evenings of wild duck flighting in wild places.

We again have an ever-growing core of faithful regulars, who of course we prioritise if possible, so it is advisable to book early to bag available days.

We also offer to arrange, where possible, accommodation on or near the estate: for example to provide two days, one day with driven shooting and one day semi-driven, with optional evening flighting in addition.

We have four rowing boats for hire at £25 per boat per day.
