FISHING
We are determined that the Loch remains naturally populated with its own strain of totally wild brown trout. It currently contains a large number of small brownies, as well as fish of up to and over 1lb. We have a programme of naturally raising the average size.
Our policy is that there is no bag limit, but all fish caught must be taken. The strict rule is that all fishing is by traditional dry fly, wet-fly, and small nymph only.
The loch is fished from rowing boats, though fishing from the bank is also possible. We have re-furbished the old and much–loved boats this season.
All fishers must be able to row, and of course to swim. Life-jackets are provided.
Loch Fishing is charged at: £25 per boat per day. Permits are available from the keeper.
